Gathering at the Gray Goose from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Gathering bags to include shirts,
literature and other items will be distributed. If you can’t make it, membership bags
can be picked up at any time during our events.

Our tour of Fort Ligonier will begin at 10:00 am. The tour will last approximately 2 hours
and include a highland interpreter. After the tour, members can walk around the grounds
and see the museum. A golf cart will be available for members who have mobility issues.
Originally, we advertised this event as self-pay, but now it’s FREE.

Games Event Schedule
The Clan Galbraith Society will be the Honored Clan at the 67th Highland Games located
at Idlewild Park. Gates open at 8:00am. Please review the Games Event Schedule included
in this email. Events are scheduled from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Please report in at the
Clan Galbraith tent at 8:30 (Scottish Clans Area).

There will be an America’s 250 Celebration in Ligonier Square (just a short walk from
Fort Ligonier) after the Highland Games. At 7:00pm the band Street Dance with Jeff Jimerson
and Airborne will perform and at 9:30 there will be a fireworks display.

We will have our business meeting from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Foggy Mountain Lodge and Pub,
Walnut Hall, meeting and banquet room. Our banquet and entertainment will be from
5:30 pm to 9:00pm. May Tantlinger will make a presentation on the Life and Times of
Colonial Official and Ligonier resident Thomas Galbraith. Mark Barrett will make a
presentation on the Irish and Scottish Influence in Western Pennsylvania.
